Kate e i suoi amici.

Una strana amicizia.

In their new book, 'In the Company of Legends,' Joan Kramer and David Heeley shared that Katharine Hepburn and Michael Jackson had an unlikely friendship.

The American actress mentioned in an interview in 1980s that she met MJ through Jane Fonda, who was already friends with the singer, the New York Post reported.

Jackson, who would have been around 22 during the shooting of the 1981 film 'On Golden Pond,' had come to visit Fonda, but she had to fly back to LA one weekend, so she put Hepburn in charge for taking care of the 'Beat It' artist.

Even though Hepburn didn't knew Jackson very well she found a room for the pop star in the attic of an old house they were staying in.

Hepburn also took Jackson to a public laundromat in a woodsy New England town, as he didn't knew how to wash clothes and showed him how to feed quarters into the pay washing machines.

George Cukor fu grande amico e sostenitore della Hepburn.

Nel 1932 George Cukor ottenne il suo primo grande successo. Fui infatti chiamato a dirigere Katharine Hepburn in Febbre di vivere (A Bill of Divorcement); Cukor da allora la preferirà a tutte le altre, principalmente per il suo carattere forte e brioso.Negli anni quaranta e cinquanta dirigerà ancora Katharine Hepburn in una serie di successi, tra cui la commedia Scandalo a Filadelfia (The Philadelphia Story, 1940), e le migliori commedie da lei interpretate al fianco di Spencer Tracy, tra cui La costola di Adamo (Adam's Rib, 1949) e Lui e lei (Pat and Mike, 1952). Dirige ancora la Hepburn nel 1975 in Amore tra le rovine (Love Among Ruins), lui ha 76 anni, lei 68. E infine nel 1979 e' il regista di The Corn is Green sempre interpretato dalla Hepburn.

E' il maggio del 1968. Kate e' in Francia per La Pazza di Chailllot. A Parigi la diva si incontro' con Alain Delon e fu molto cordiale con lui.

1971. All'Hotel Brystol Kate incontra Alain Delon.
